Australian Government Announces CCUS Development Fund Recipients

The Australian Government has announced the six successful applicants of the CCUS Development Fund. The $50m fund - part of the Government's $1.9n new energy technology package - seeks to accelerate the development and deployment of carbon capture projects.

Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction, Angus Taylor, said that the overwhelming demand for funding through the Development Fund was indicative of the "viability and importance" of carbon capture technologies. The Minister also highlighted the regional investment the funded projects would deliver.
