Brief: Canadian Federal and Provincial
CCS Policies

Exclusive to Institute members, this newly published brief focuses on Canadian federal policy relevant to CCUS/CCS, while also including a description of CCUS policy in Alberta and Saskatchewan, paying particular attention to programs and policies that support emissions reduction, such as Alberta’s Technology Innovation and Emission Reduction (TIER) program.

Report: Blue Hydrogen and CCS

With hydrogen back in focus, it's imperative to understand its significant potential in contributing to emissions reduction in power generation, transport, and industry. Blue hydrogen is well placed to kickstart the rapid increase in hydrogen production and utilisation.

This blue hydrogen report looks at the cost drivers for different types of hydrogen, resource requirements and cost reduction opportunities, and policy recommendations to drive investment.
